At Golisano Children's Hospital we are dedicated to providing high quality and safe patient and family care through best practices driven by evidence-based practices, standards, and core measures.

We can assure best practice through our affiliation with the Children's Hospital Association that drives our goal to keep central line infections at zero and with the Ohio Children's Hospital Association Solutions for Patient Safety which allows us to network and share best practices with over 75 children's hospitals across the country to help us reduce hospital acquired infections or conditions.

We also provide ongoing evaluation of our hospital through Patient Safety Rounds conducted monthly on each of our inpatient areas with the Pediatric Safety Officer, Department of Pediatrics Chair, physicians and nursing staff. These collaborative relationships are key to the quality of our care and the safety of our patients and their families.
